Who’s behind Clearlane

One name behind every Clearlane app.

I’m Maxime Ragionieri, founder of Clearlane, an independent studio of apps for Jira and Confluence, based in France. When your auditor, your security team or your project lead asks who stands behind an app, this is the answer.

Runs on Atlassian Your data stays in your Atlassian site.

One person accountableThe apps, their releases and their support have one name behind them.
Your data stays with youEvery app runs in your Atlassian site. I have no server and see none of your content.
Security reports firstFixed within the deadlines of Atlassian’s Security Bug Fix Policy.
90 days’ noticeIf an app is ever withdrawn, you hear about it at least 90 days ahead.
What you can count on

Four commitments, written down.

01

Your data stays with you

Every Clearlane app runs on Atlassian Forge, inside your Atlassian site. I operate no server and receive none of your Jira or Confluence content.

02

Security comes first

Security reports go before everything else and are fixed within the deadlines of Atlassian’s Security Bug Fix Policy: 10 days for a critical issue, 4 weeks for a high one.

03

No silent exit

If an app is ever withdrawn, its customers are told at least 90 days in advance, and paid subscriptions stay supported until the end of the period already paid. It is in our licence terms.

04

Straight answers

What an app does, and what it does not do, said plainly. The quality apps help you meet a requirement; your validated system and your procedures do the rest.

How we work

Start from the work, not from the code.

At Clearlane, we have one simple rule: understand your work before writing a single line of code. Every app starts from a real need, one that quality, security and project teams live with every day, and that the Jira and Confluence community has sometimes been asking about for years. It does one thing, and it does it well. After that, you tell us where to go next. Write to us: we read everything, and we’ll get back to you.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is Clearlane a company?
Clearlane is the brand of a sole proprietorship registered in France, under French law. The publisher’s details are in the legal notice.
Who answers our support requests?
Requests arrive in our help center, run on Atlassian, or at [email protected]. Every one reaches me, and security reports are handled first.
What if Clearlane stops one day?
You keep your data: it lives in your Atlassian site, and the quality apps export their records as PDF evidence files. An app that is withdrawn is announced at least 90 days ahead, and paid subscriptions stay supported until the end of the period already paid.
How is each release checked?
Automated tests at the real Forge limits, runs on a real Atlassian site, an access test with an account that has no rights, a security review of the code and a dependency audit.
