ISO 9001 documents, training and CAPA in Confluence and Jira.
Procedures and work instructions approved and kept current, training recorded for each version, nonconformities and complaints closed with a verified corrective action, and verification records signed.
Runs on Atlassian Your data stays in your Atlassian site.

One app for each record your auditor samples.
Each app works on its own, on your existing pages and work items. Start with what your next audit will look at.
- Clearlane Controlled Documents
Control procedures and work instructions
Named approvers sign with their signing password; the document becomes effective and receives its next review date. Any later edit is flagged against the approved version.
- Clearlane Read & Understood
Train on the current version
Operators and staff confirm the exact version they read, optionally answer comprehension questions and sign. A new version asks them again.
- Clearlane CAPA
Close nonconformities and complaints
Any Jira work item, including a Jira Service Management request, becomes a CAPA: containment, root cause guided past “human error”, signed plan, actions in Jira, dated effectiveness check.
- Clearlane Tests
Record verification
Write verification steps as test cases linked to requirements, run them in campaigns with results and evidence, sign the closure, export a PDF report.
- Clearlane CRA
Report vulnerabilities in connected products
For machines and devices with software: Article 14 deadlines, ENISA fields ready to paste, SBOM per version and CSAF advisories.
Requirement, what the app does, your part.
Clause by clause, for the records your teams already keep in Confluence and Jira.
| Requirement | What Clearlane does | Your part |
|---|---|---|
| ISO 9001 7.5 Documented information | Controlled Documents: review and approval with e-signatures, current revision shown, changes after approval flagged, periodic review, obsolete documents kept with their history. | Decide which documents you need, name the approvers and set review periods. |
| ISO 9001 7.2 Competence, 7.3 Awareness | Read & Understood: confirmation per person and page version, optional comprehension questions, reminders, records by person. | Define competence needs, assess effectiveness and keep other evidence of competence. |
| ISO 9001 8.7 Control of nonconforming outputs | CAPA: the problem and its containment recorded on any Jira work item. | Decide how each nonconforming output is handled. |
| ISO 9001 10.2 Nonconformity and corrective action | CAPA: guided root cause, similar CAPAs shown, signed action plan, actions as Jira work items, dated effectiveness check, signed closure, PDF evidence file. | Investigate, decide the actions and judge their effectiveness. |
| Customer complaints | CAPA: open a CAPA straight from a Jira Service Management request. | Decide which complaints need a corrective action. |
| ISO 9001 9.2 Internal audit | CAPA: each audit finding logged as a Jira work item can become a CAPA with its own evidence file. | Plan and run the audits. |
| ISO 9001 8.3.4 Design and development controls | Tests: verification test cases linked to requirements, signed runs and closure, coverage per requirement and a PDF report. | Define what is verified and the acceptance criteria. |
| ISO 14001 and ISO 45001: 7.5 and 10.2 | The same apps for documented information and corrective actions in your environmental and health and safety systems. | Adapt your procedures to each standard. |
| Cyber Resilience Act Art. 14 (products with digital elements) | CRA: reporting deadlines, ENISA fields, SBOM per version, CSAF advisory. | Assess which products are in scope and submit through ENISA’s single reporting platform. |
Clause numbers follow the harmonized structure shared by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. References are given to help you find the relevant requirement, not as a claim of compliance or certification.
PDFs with the signatures, ready for your auditor to sample.
Procedure evidence file
Signatures with name, date, meaning and fingerprint, revisions, read confirmations and the audit trail.
Training record
Who confirmed which version and when, with tries and signature IDs.

Questions, answered.
- Do we need an eQMS to stay ISO 9001 certified?
- No standard requires a particular tool. If your procedures already live in Confluence and your issues in Jira, the apps add what auditors check: approvals, training records and corrective actions with proof.
- What changes with ISO 9001:2026?
- Certified organizations move to the 2026 edition by 30 September 2029. The clauses these apps help with keep their numbers; review your procedures against the new edition with your certification body.
- Does it cover ISO 14001 and ISO 45001?
- Yes for documented information, awareness and corrective actions, which follow the same harmonized structure. The apps do not handle environmental aspects, legal registers or hazard assessments.
- What does it cost?
- Controlled Documents, Read & Understood and Tests are free for up to 10 users; CAPA and CRA are paid from the first user, with a free trial.
